BREAKING: Chadian President Idris Deby Murdered By Rebels.

President Idriss Deby of Chad has died after suffering injuries on the frontline against rebels, an army spokesman said on Tuesday according to the AFP.

Mr Deby, 68, was on Monday declared winner of a presidential election held on April 11.

The Chad president “has just breathed his last defending the sovereign nation on the battlefield” spokesman General Azem Bermandoa Agouna said in a televised statement.

The army had previously announced that insurgents marching towards the capital, N’Djamena, were beating back over the weekend.

Mr Deby assumed power in 1990 on the back of a rebelion 1990. He had since won six elections.

AKA’s Fiancée Dies In A Tragic Accident In Cape Town.

Ace South African rapper, Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, has lost his 22-year-old fiancée, Nelli Tembe, after she allegedly fell to her death from the tenth floor of the five-star Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town, on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

Details are not clear about he events but according to the Western Cape SA Police spokesperson, Captain Fredierick van Wyk, the crime scene is being investigated and a case has been opened.

“Cape Town Central police are investigating an inquest case after an incident at a hotel this morning at about 7.45am on the corners of Loop and Bloem streets, Cape Town CBD, where the body of a 22-year-old woman was found deceased,” he said in a statement.

Tembe and Forbes’ families also released a statement on Sunday, confirming her death and revealed the rapper has been inconsolable. The couple got engaged in February, 2021.
