A referee does his job if he officiates a football game in orderly fashion without becoming the centre of attention.

There can be no worse feeling for a referee when he impacts the outcome of a game by making a wrong decision. But affecting the outcome of an entire campaign is much, much worse.

BBM video for android is here

BlackBerry just announced the launch of BBM Video for Android. However, this new version of BBM will only be available for a test run by US and Canadian users and will be available globally in July after every bug has been fixed. BBM Video will also be available on iOS devices soon”.

Mattew Talbot, an inside blackberry source said:

“BBM users have been clamoring for video calling (as you reminded me in your comments on my recent BBM: Getting Better All the Time post). We’re thrilled to announce that video is almost ready for primetime; today we’ve launched it as a beta feature for Android, as part of the latest version of BBM. Update your BBM today to get it. Video calling for iPhone and iPad users is also coming soon. Please note we’re initially limiting availability because this is the first time we’re launching BBM Video calling, and we want to monitor performance, gather feedback, and iron out any kinks that may arise before we roll it out globally.

The beta video feature will only be available in U.S. and Canada, coming first to Android users, followed closely by iOS. At that time, U.S. and Canadian BBM users will be able to enjoy cross-platform video calling with each other. We plan to launch the feature globally in our July release.

There’s no sign-up or approval required to use the feature. When you tap the icon to initiate a call with one of your BBM contacts, BBM will ask whether you want to make a voice call or try a video call with the beta feature (provided your contact is also eligible to participate)”.

UEFA suspends Mamadou Sakho for thirty days

UEFA has suspended Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho for a provisional period of 30 days following a positive drugs test.
A sample submitted by the France internationa following the club’s Europa League fixture with Manchester United on March 17 came back showing traces of a banned substance, believed to be a fat burner.
Sakho had the option to appeal the finding and have a B sample tested, but it was revealed on Wednesday that he had declined to take this option.
UEFA has now elected to suspended the player for a month while an investigation is undertaken.
A release from European football’s governing body reads: “Disciplinary proceedings have been instigated against Liverpool FC player Mamadou Sakho, following the UEFA Europa League round of 16 second-leg match between Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC (1-1), played on 17 March.
“The proceedings relate to a violation of the UEFA Anti-Doping Regulations, after the player failed a doping test at the above-mentioned match.
“The player did not request the analysis of the B sample. UEFA has now suspended the player provisionally for 30 days until a final decision is taken by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.
“The date of the disciplinary hearing will be announced at a later stage.”
Team-mate Kolo Toure only received a six-month ban for admitting liability to using diet pills while at Manchester City in 2011, with an independent regulatory commission stating: “The player accepted he was at fault and with that concession we agree.
“He was at fault in the limited and perfunctory efforts he made in relation to the water tablets; the checks he made in relation to those tablets were inadequate and fell some way below what it would be reasonable to expect of a professional footballer in these circumstances.”

How Banky W And Peter Okoye Saved Tee Billz From Committing Suicide Today!

We have just confirmed from an inside source that pleads anonymity that the whole Teebillz drama and attempted suicide is true.

Already reports have gone out that Teebillz who is allegedly going through depression reportedly attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge this morning after his Instagram rant.

We also got word that it reportedly took the timely intervention of Banky W and Peter Okoye, joined by passersby, to pull him off the bridge and subsequently delete the Instagram posts off his mobile phone.

According to an eye-witness Chukwuma Ani who spoke to blogger, Linda Ikeji, ‘Around past 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge, a car hit me from behind. I came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle. I didn’t know who the man was (it was Teebillz). The man looked at me and told me to leave, that he was there for a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide’

The eye-witness continued to say, ‘I thought I was watching a movie. The man held the railing and tried to jump over it and that was when the yellow man held him and started shouting for help. The two of them nearly fell into the water. I quickly joined the yellow man to pull the guy out and while we were struggling with him, one Psquare twin (Peter Okoye) and Banky W joined us to pull the man out’.
